Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong
Approximate Distance: 100 km | Travel Time: 3–4 Hours
Upon arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport or Guwahati Railway Station, our representative will welcome you and assist you with your transfer to Shillong, popularly known as the Scotland of the East.
Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful hills of Meghalaya. En route, stop at Umiam Lake, a picturesque reservoir surrounded by lush green hills and peaceful landscapes.
After arriving in Shillong, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, you may explore the lively Police Bazaar, famous for local shopping, cafés and street food.

Day 2: Shillong – Cherrapunji Sightseeing

Continue to Dawki, located close to the India–Bangladesh border. Visit the famous Umngot River, known for its remarkable water clarity under favourable seasonal conditions.

Day 5: Kaziranga Jeep Safari – Transfer to Bhalukpong

Begin your day with an early morning jeep safari inside Kaziranga National Park, subject to park opening, weather conditions and availability.
During the safari, visitors may spot the famous one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffaloes, swamp deer, elephants and numerous species of birds. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out.
Continue your journey towards Bhalukpong, a peaceful destination situated along the Assam–Arunachal Pradesh border.

Depending on weather, road accessibility, permits and local vehicle availability, travellers may opt for an additional excursion to Bum La Pass and Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake).
Bum La Pass is situated near the India–China border and requires special permission from the relevant authorities. Access is not guaranteed.

Arunachal Pradesh Entry Permit: Indian tourists generally require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Arunachal Pradesh. Foreign nationals are subject to separate permit regulations. Travellers must provide valid identification and documents in advance.
